Chili Pepper – Madre Vieja
A great variety from South America. It is a compact Capsicum baccatum variety that gives an early productive harvest. The ripe chillies are orange with a delicious fruity flavour with medium hot pungency.
Sow from February onward to April in individual pots.. Pot on in late May. Germinate at 25°C, compost should not be too moist to prevent the seeds from rotting. All chilli peppers are very sensitive to the cold, grow under glass or well protected site outside.
