Hoary Plantain – Plantago Media

This plantain has abundant flowers from May through to the end of August. It is one of the more attractive plantains with grey downy stems and green/white flower spikes with long pink-purple stamen. The leaves are flat to the ground.

The seed can be sown at any time of the year and has the ability to live in the ground until the conditions are right.
